JAVA DEVELOPER (m/f/d)

Project Networld AG, based in Vienna, develops and operates the cloud-based construction management software projectnetworld.

For the further development of the application and different customer requirements, we are looking for motivated and very experienced full-stack Java developers to strengthen our team of different professionals.

If you’re passionate about technology and constantly strive to learn and improve your skills, you’re the kind of person we’re looking for.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop and coordinate with the team to:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and errors and work out solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Solid understanding of web-based full-stack Java programming and design principles behind a scalable application
  • Excellent knowledge of the Java/J2EE environment as well as XML, UML etc.
  • Solid understanding of web-based development using relational databases such as Oracle, Maria DB
  • Good knowledge of JasperReport and Eclipse
  • Excellent skills in the development of “presentations layer”, in particular: Ext JS, AJAX, JSON, Python, JavaScript, HTML (5), CSS, JSP
  • Good working experience with web services such as RESTFul and SOAP
  • Good knowledge of Linux
  • Knowledge of Apache web server, WildFly application server and JBOSS
  • Working knowledge of mobile application development (Android)
