Why we do what we do

These and many other customers rely on projectnetworld

As a software developer for construction project management solutions, we know how important efficient and simple tools are. That’s why we’re modernizing the interface and adapting it to the latest and most common findings in terms of usability. Our developments have one goal: simple, powerful and modern tools for our users.

Dedicated to usability

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF GOOD UI DESIGN?

Easy work

Unambiguous symbols and clear workflows for routine activities and new tasks are the basis for efficient work – the advantage: the software can be learned quickly and the functionality can be recognized.

Better overview

Lots of heterogeneous information is often difficult to grasp. For this reason, we have placed particular emphasis on improved readability and a clear focus on relevant content. The result: a good overview.

Multitasking

Different tasks in several projects require clear structures to perfectly support the user in their daily work. A clear user interface and prepared structures support this multitasking.

Faster response

Individually prepared information, views that can be created personally, and uniform processes and clearly recognizable symbols are valuable components for informed decisions.

Pleasant work

We are convinced that software should not only score with mature functions. According to current studies, a modern and attractive user interface makes a significant contribution to user satisfaction.

Beauty is fun

We believe that our customers enjoy the modern interface as much as we do. Do you have feedback for us? Let us know!

Good design is actually much harder to notice than bad design, partly because good design suits our needs so well that the design becomes invisible.

Our most important 6 UX principles

RECOGNIZE

Recognition is an essential element in learning a new digital work environment.
This is achieved through clear and well-known symbols, elements and structures.

EFFICIENCY

Effective, powerful tools, whether software or APPS, support efficient work, reduce and simplify the user’s work and reduce the organizational effort involved in using software.

LEARNABILITY

Learnability describes the time required by a user to implement a new task in a new system. The higher the usability and consistency of the software, the easier and faster it is to learn.

USABILITY

To ensure good usability, the structure of the software, the way it works and, above all, the provision of information must be SIMPLE, CLEAR, CONSISTENT and TRUSTED [generally known or common].

SATISFACTION

Efficient and effective work increases user satisfaction and acceptance when using digital tools (software, APP). Basic requirements determine the utilization level of a software.

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE USER

As a software developer, we focus on our users and their working methods.
We have only done our job properly if we support our users in their daily work.

OUR UI DESIGN PROCESS

WHY UI DESIGN IS CRUCIAL TO THE QUALITY OF WORK

The user interface [also called UI] is not only the appearance of the software, but has a significant impact on the efficiency of daily work and determines the satisfaction and acceptance of our users.

For this reason, we are constantly working to improve the functions, modernize the design, user interface and improve usability.

  • ANALYSIS

Analysis of the existing interface based on user feedback, usability goals, design theories and current user interface trends

  • concept and design

Evaluation of ideas, concepts, trends, and theories weighted according to usability goals and potential for improvement

  • implementation

Prototype, implement and test the product design until it meets the goals and given usability standards

  • Launch & Iterate

Activate and return to the first step after collecting user feedback.

F or us, the benefit of our customers is paramount. We are convinced that the biggest difference to other solutions lies in the simplicity, self-administration and flexibility of our software.

SCIENTIFICALLY SOUND PRINCIPLES AND FINDINGS …

Did you know that User Experience [the consistency of the user experience – starting e.g. with the website, through the product and the services], User Interface [the surface of the software] and Usability [usability, user friendliness] are not new sciences? Since the 1950s, for example, the topic of usability has been scientifically researched, encompasses interdisciplinary areas – such as design and psychology and applies equally to systems, products and services.

There is a myriad of literature, contemporary blogs, websites, and experts tackling these issues—such as the site of user experience forefathers Don Norman and Jacob Nielsen .
